The Heavy Dome Bookend is a smooth spherical form, hand-cast in solid concrete in Stony Hill, Jamaica. The rounded dome profile is a soft, sculptural counterpoint to the sharper geometric pieces in the range, and at about 3 kg it has the mass to hold up a large run of books without leaning. The base is cork-backed to grip the shelf and protect the surface underneath.
Each bookend is made to order and finished by hand in one of 16 custom colors, so slight variations in tone and texture are part of the character. Buy a single sculptural end or two for a matching pair. Choose your color in the details window before adding to cart.
